Sessions

PRIVATE SESSIONS

Sessions are one-on-one designed to meet the clients’ specific goals.  All of the specialized equipment will be used during a private session in order to attain maximum results. You will have a fun, challenging and varied workout using the Pilates ring, stability balls, bands and other small props.

DUET SESSIONS

Two pre-matched individuals share a session with one trainer.  Focus and attention on individual needs will be addressed. All of the specialized equipment will be used incorporating various props to keep excitement in your workout. Bring a friend or simply request to be set up with a partner. Training with a partner increases motivation and commitment to your exercise routine.

SEMI PRIVATE SESSIONS

Three or more individuals share a session using a variety of equipment.  Reformer, Tower, Chair, and Barrel make this a comprehensive workout incorporating all of the Pilates principles. Improves strength, balance, coordination and flexibility of the spine.

SPECIALTY CLASSES

PILATES REFORMER GROUP CLASS

Group   training incorporating the classical style of Joseph Pilates.  The key principles of Pilates will be addressed focusing on the breath, concentration, rhythm and flow including whole body movements. Correct alignment and form is emphasized and will become second nature leading to improved posture. Working knowledge of the Reformer is required in order to participate.

PILATES TOWER GROUP CLASS

Group training focusing on the use of the Tower. The Tower is used in conjunction with mat exercises to create a full body exercise routine.  All the major muscle groups are used integrating movement into a flowing whole body experience.

PILATES MAT CLASS

A small group training class designed for students of all levels.  The class is based on the principles of Joseph Pilates and will develop a strong stable and flexible core.  Modifications will be addressed.

NEW!  PILATES ARC CLASS

Small group training using a lightweight piece of Pilates equipment designed to stretch and strengthen the spine. The Arc is used in conjunction with the traditional mat exercises and otherwise known as the ultimate spine corrector!

PRE AND POST NATAL PILATES SESSIONS

A blend of Pilates exercises including all apparatus and focusing on safety throughout all stages of pregnancy.

Barre Class

Barre is a safe and effective workout based on Pilates Principles. Beginning with a warm up and continuing with light weights for upper body and then proceeding to the barre for standing work. At the barre the emphasis is on postural alignment, balance, proper engagement of the core and high intensity lower body movements. High repetitions are used to shape the muscles. Stretching is always included to increase flexibility.

Orbit Class

The Orbit is a multidimensional, ergonomically designed fitness device. Roll through a fun, full – body workout that strengthens, stretches and challenges on multiple planes. Exercises include both circular and linear movements ranging from mild to complex. It is an amazing core workout because your abdominal muscles are always engaged. You will increase upper and lower body strength , improve flexibility and balance. A great mind-body workout!

Jumpboard Class

A great cardio workout while lying down on the Reformer. Burn calories and expand your Pilates repertoire . A padded foot plate is uses to allow jumping and other cardio exercises. Clearly a great heart-thumping , fat blasting cardio workout!
